TT023 Terraphone Clubman Intercom Amplifier Rally Intercoms - For reliable and cost-effective Driver/Co-driver communications, Terratrip offers two levels of helmet mount intercoms and a set of "practice" headphones for use on transits without helmets. Both the Club and the Pro version of the intercom feature two volume controls, one for the driver and one for the co-driver. Each also includes an auxiliary input suitable for connecting to a two-way radio. The Professional Intercom also has a voice output suitable for a feed to a two-way radio or a video camera. There are two styles of headsets, one suitable for use on a Full-faced helmet and the other suitable for use on an Open-faced helmet. The Professional headsets are equipped with noise canceling microphones. If you plan to use the Professional version and interface the voice to a video camera or to a two-way radio, you'll also want to purchase the Radio Controls - a cable set that interfaces to a DIN plug on the back of the Pro Intercom for all of the external connections. Practice Headsets (so called because they are used on practice runs at WRC events) are used on long transits instead of wearing your helmets. These are a necessity inside a powerful, noisy car. They feature fully padded headbands and ear cups and are equipped with a boom type microphone for communication.
